Can anyone visit Antarctica?
Antarctica belongs to no country, so no Visa is required to travel there. However, if you are a citizen of a country party to the Antarctic Treaty, you will need permission to travel to the fifth-largest continent. Even if you need no license, the ports you are likely to leave from will most likely require you to show some proof of permission.
Agreements limit the number of people allowed to set foot on land, To protect the pristine environment of the ice-covered continent.
